Mega Post '05!!!!!
Before I really get in to my work day I have some things I would like jot down. I went to a free happy hour last night at this "trendy" place called Ixia. The place was very nice. There were a lot of big couches and the bathrooms were very interesting. That is my review. Of course, having free drinks and food certainly pushed my review towards the positive side of things.
Speaking of bathrooms, don't you just love it when you completely trash the bathroom at work then upon exiting the bathroom you pass your boss who is on her way to the very same bathroom? Good lord, that was awkward. Oh well, if there's one thing I learned from the timeless, educational classic, "Everyone Poops" it's that everyone, in fact, poops.
This might be old news, but I stumbled across the greatest band in the world, which is surprisingly not Tenacious D. They are called Hatebeak and they are a thrashing heavy-metal band. What sets them apart, you ask? Their lead singer just happens to be a heavy-metal lovin' parrot. He carries much hatred in his beak. You can check out their site right here...

I happen to be taking care of a parrot at the Rose house this week. We are working on songs right now. Curly freaked me out the other night when he started talking. I kind of forgot that was an option for parrots and he chose to start up while I was in the basement. He was like, "hello," which is about the worst thing he could have said because it really made me think there was a person in the house. Right now I'm teaching the bird to say, "fuck, nick rose." I hope he gets it by Sunday.
The Rose bros. must not trust me very much because Nick put a lock on his computer and Paddy Rose locked his bedroom door. I think that was pretty low.
Most of the people who read this journal know about this already, but there will be a rock spectacle next saturday night (July 30th) featuring The Fyuss, which now includes me. Got it?
